i replaced my ignition coil and both batery cables because they melted together and i still have no spark from my coil to my plugs

On some jeeps the is a top dead center (TDC) sensor on the bell housing. It is on the drivers side. Look for the two wires going into the bell housing. This tell the computer what cylinder to fire. The tech name is a "crank angle sensor". This is not hard to change. Two bolts and a clip.
Hope this helps...good luck.

How did you burn your battery cables up? You may have fried the computer?

Check the fuses you may have blowen the main engine fuse when the cables shorted, you also have a pick up coil inside the distributor
