I bought a bag of Brown Jasmine Rice from Trader Joe's. I tried cooking it like the directions said and it was hardly edible! It was still hard! The directions said to use 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water (which I know is a general rule of thumb for rice), and to cook it for 45 minutes. So, it didn't come out so well. Do I need to cook it longer? Perhaps use a different pan? Should I try a different method? Please help! Thanks!
