I have been working in Human Resources for the past 4 years and have decided to make a change. I'm not yet sure what direction I want to take, but I have found that Corporate America is not for me.
I have an interview for a Front Desk Customer Service position at a upscale, posh salon and spa this Wednesday. I'm really excited about this opportunity and think it is an environment I will greatly enjoy working in. However, I feel as if I will need to have a certain "look" in order to be the best candidate for this role (i.e. perfect hair and makeup, trendy clothes, etc.).
I want to make sure I have a good understanding of what a hiring manager at a salon is looking for in a candidate. Are there any pointers or tips you can give that will help me land this job?
