Tomorrow I will take the timing cover off and inspect TDC marks on cam shaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket. Both marks should line up top dead center when I turn the crank clockwise, correct? If they dont and they are way off, then the timing is off correct? Cam shaft shouldnt be moved clockwise or counterclockwise more than 90 degrees from TDC when belt is off? So, when belt is off and cam sprocket is at TDC, I can move crank as much as I want because the valves are up on this interference motor. Comments?
