I have just had a 100,000km service on my 2002 Renault Clio Sport. The service centre was insistent that I should replace the Timing Belt (this is before they even opened the bonnet) at a cost of $1200. The car appears to drive well and I am not experiencing any problems, so I didn’t replace the Timing Belt. Is the service centre correct or are just up selling on me?
