Ok well my sister went to aaa and said my car is having having trouble starting, so they said her starter needed to be changed and so did the timing belt. Well I worked on the car today and noticed that the timing belt was replaced at 168000 and the car only has 210000, they said the timing belt was cracked but the only way to take off the cover is to start taking the mounts and alternator off. If my sister went in about the starter why would they take off the cover to check the timingbelt? They tried to charge her $1000 dollars to do this but do you think that they were just trying to rip her off.
