Okay so.......

These last two years have been the worst of my life! Due to Family problems, unreliable friends and school/work/guys... i have been depressed and because of this depression it has effected everything in my path. I had two years to complete certain courses in college and i have not been able to concentrate through any of it. It pretty much has gone in one ear and right out the other or maybe it's up there just packed away in some dusty closet!

Anyways, my point is in this next 2 weeks i have to complete 3 folios which consist of 6 pieces each.

-i cannot achieve this-

I know you could blame me for not getting most of the work done sooner but seriously. It's been harder than you think. I've tried sitting down every couple of nights to complete parts of work but i just can't concentrate like -seriously! It's like i have a disability in concentrating! (I'm not meaning that in any offence!)

It's like i'm constantly stuck in this dwam!(you know what that is right?) although usually in a dwam when you turn or move your head you go out of it and the difference with me is that i'm always in it. I'm stuck and there no way out! My minds zooming around on other subjects that when i try to concentrate on the correct one it wanders off. I haven't learned half the work in these courses due to these last two years and final exams are coming up soon. I really want to do well and i'm trying my best to sit and study but i just can't get it right!

I need a safe-proof way that will help me in these next to weeks to complete these folios with credit pieces of work. If i don't get these done it will effect my future dearly!

I have honestly tried many ways to achieve the standards i need and nothing seems to work for me! and before anyone says it, it's not because i'm just lazy because... i'm not!

Any suggestions please would be greatly appriciated!! (and yes i know i could just spend less time on here but hey! like i said it's not that simple!)

Please Help!

Found your problem. Take it from experience. There's employment, social life and college. Pick any two. I'm not worried about your time on here. If you're stuck on something or if you've been doing something for several hours (most likely both if you're a programmer) it actually helps to take an occassional break and come back to it. Besides, if you're killing your grades and all you've made is 32 posts, you're doing something wrong.

talk to your instructor, maybe there is program he/she can get you in touch with for resources. Write out what you need to accomplish and steps on how to do it, even in the smallest detail. Then do it. Take exercise, stretch and food breaks. Good luck.

Can't help you...but I can present motivation.

1. Money
2. A life
3. Money

Don't you want these things? Isn't this why you went to college?

yeah. A dwam is when ehm.... when you deep in thought. You know? Like do you ever sit and stare at something but your not actually looking at that, your thinking about something else.

Yes it is! But i just can't figure out why i'm not or my brain or whatever it is that seems to be stopping me is? You know? If i knew why i couldn't sit and study or whatever i mean it's not that i'm phisically not able but i just can't figure out the root of the problem, if i could i would be able to find better ways to help! Thanks for the advise so far guys! I'll give some of them a go! Maybe i just need a good slap in the face! haha any volenteers? - haha

Everyday of my life.

Never have actually gotten myself checked out to see what it is, but I've always thought that it was either a natural result of my INTP personality type or a case of ADD.

you really want studing advice i may be able to help
1. do something you really don't want to do-like take out the trash
2. make food something good like pasta or a rueben
3. while your eating watch TV
4. get your paper out and sit on a comfortable chair...if you have a labtop work with that
5. start searching or writing and don't stop
6. take a break and return to something you want to do
7. return to your work
8. repeat steps 6 and 7 until you're done
9. if that doesn't work you csan always pay someone smarter than you to do it
