"Timecrimes" on Film 4

did anyone watch this last night ?

a spanish film about a guy who finRAB a dead naked woman and is then tricked into going back in time (one hour) he then tries to change things ... etc.

it was good but hard to follow (or maybe I was too drunk) .

this is basically Triangle but with a Dude, right ?!

In that they're both about time travel, yes, they're exactly the same.

But whereas Triangle was a confused mess, this movie makes absolute logical sense and is very cleverly plotted. It's well worth the watch.

I started to watch it last night.....dozed off after and woke up to catch the last 10 minutes.....switched over to +1 and was ......I wish I had`t lapsed into the land of nod as this genre of film is normally right up my street....Hopefully it will be repeated in the near future.

Spanish... was there any male nudity in it? I like naked Spanish men.

Umm.....thinking about it; the last thing I remember before dozing off was the lead character finding a rather attractive young lady with pert boobbies.....dead in the wooRAB

It's not an Almodovar flick.

You'd be disappointed by the quality of the men. They're just actors, not models-in-waiting.

You missed a great movie. Deals with the butterfly effect but without the razzamatz (sp) of the movie with that name.

I have just seen it on my PVR. Quite an interesting little film about time travel. Hopefully Nacho Vigalondo (the director) will go on to do other films as well.

Hopefully it's repeated soon. I asked about it months ago, but then didn't spot F4 showing it on 1st May.

Whilst googling, I see that Cronenburg is remaking it with Tom Cruise. Oh dear.

Triangle is not a confused mess and is not about time travel.
It's about a woman who has a Sisyphean challenge (Greek mythology) which basically involves repeating a number of tasks.

It has some similarities with Timecrimes, eg hooded killer, but it is definitely not time travel.

I've watched Timecrimes once, but Triangle many times.

Another interesting movie which is about time travel is Primer.

It's not that often you come across such originality in a movie these days. If you like thinking over all the time paradox bits in Back To The Future, you'll love this!
