time less movies

my votes are:

Lost boys
Goonies
The Wedding Singer (by no means the greatest movie of all time, but one i can happily rewatch over and over again)
Clerks
Lampoons xmas vacation
the original star wars trilogy
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Rocky 3 (a guilty pleasure)
the Back to the Future trilogy
Casino
City Hunter (a lost Jackie Chan classic)
Halloween
Spinal Tap
Planes, Trains and automobiles
Ferris Buellers day off

.....and loaRAB more, usually comedies, that whilst not being cinematic masterpeaces, i can happily sit through time and time again.

The name of this thread should have been "end less movies" :p

Timeless does not describe a film which one watches over and over. Although you can, no question about it.

A Timeless film means exactly that, a film that the passage of time doesn't effect, due to it being made in such a way where it doesn't date by today's standarRAB. ;)

SHANE(1953) again again and again. Truth is I don't like westerns as a rule(well apart from this and some of the spaghetti ones)
The climatic showdown between Ladd and Palance is the finest piece of cinema ever, and I'll NEVER tire of watching it.

When I was younger, in the VHS days, I used to buy many movies because they were considered great movies, they would be watched once and never see the light of day again.

So when I switched over to DVD I promised myself I would only buy movies I could watch over & over again regardless of their quality or how they are regarded.

As a result every movie I own now falls into this category.
