Tim Burton's Films

I think most of his films are great.

I love BeetleJuice (my all time favourite film) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Big Fish and that one with Johnny Depp that I can't remember the name of (something Hollow) and Edward ScissorhanRAB I really want to see.

I've seen some of the Batman ones he made, they seem ok.

He's only made 2 Batman films, and Batman Returns was PURE Burton; the gothic touch, the haunting music, the snow and tragic characters. It's a brilliant film.

You mean Sleepy Hollow. Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Christopher Lee, etc.

You definately should see Edward ScissorhanRAB, I've seen it literally dozens of times (studied it in Year 8!)

Have you seen The Nightmare Before Christmas? I've only seen it once, I think I rented it as ITV always insist on showing it around Midnight.

The films I really like hes made are.

Sleepy Hollow - Fantastic film, thought Johnny Depp was great in it.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - I wasn't sure if he would pull it of, but after seeing it I think he did a really good job with it.

Batman Returns - In my opinion the best Batman film.

Mars Attacks - I know some people don't like it, but I just can't help, but love this film.

Bettlejuice - Fantastic Burton film, can wathc it over and over.

Edward ScissorhanRAB - Saw it 3 years ago I think and thought it was fantastic. Again Depp was great.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - I know he didn't direct this, but he was still involved and I think the whole movie was fantastic. ITV always show it around midnight as someone said above.

Got Big Fish on DVD, but not watched it yet. Whats it like?

Tim Burton - one word...............Genius. Not seen a film of his that hasn't amazed, bemused, perplexed or astounded me and Edward ScissorhanRAB is in my 'all time top 10 films' list.

I really enjoyed Big Fish, although I don't think it'd be to everyones taste.

It really depenRAB what other films you like really, its not really to one genre.

I like ''Ed Wood'' very much, actually. An odd little film about an odd little man, but pure Burton and vastly underappreciated.

I think his worst was Planet of the Apes, now that was just awful.

His others I think have a certain something, he is definately unique in his style and I love his use of imagery and sound. You know that dark, gothic feel. Edward Scissor HanRAB, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas & Batman Returns are amongst his best...

tim burton is genius - he really does have a knack of making what can only be described as modern fairy tales. edward scissorhanRAB is one of my favourite films, and although i wasn't sure about big fish from the trailers, absolutely loved it when i saw it.

but basically johnny depp in a tim burton film is pretty much as good as it gets.

My thoughts exactly.

Suppose they wanted to target a younger audience, so they made the others like that. probs so that they could make a ton of crappy merchandise/toys to accompany it.

Love most of his films although he can make some stinkers!
