Oh, if I had to pick his weakest it would be the remake of Planet of the Apes. It was alright in a Burton way but that film just shouldn't have been remade in the first place.

I just watched Corpse bride today, such a sad but good movie. Also made a music video of the movie too if anyone wants to see it.

Oh I agree, him and Danny Elfman are another great pair together when coming to make films and the music. Danny's music really brings out Tim's films.

Mia was in Defiance with Daniel Craig from last year... that's all I've seen her in. Yeah, can't wait to see Johnny Depp! And crazy Helena Bonham Carter is always great to see, haha.

Awww, didn't get to see the teaser trailer... most of the ones on youtube don't work. :(

:lmao: Oh man, I totally agree there. He barely talked much at all in the commentary. Did you listen to him in Sleepy hollow? He actually talked a bit more in that but still not enough. Aw well, he still rocks. My favorite part though of Tim talking in Edward Scissorhands was when he said that Johnny Depp threw up on set, once was at the scene where all those women kept shoving all those desserts in his mouth (poor guy, lol) and then the other when he was running in his leather suit and it got really hot.

That's a great question. Alice in Wonderland has always been a little dark, so it's going to be interesting to see what Burton does with it.

everyone is entitled to their opinions...but i love sweeney todd..i thought it was amazing

Did you know that Tim Burton didn't direct the movie Nightmare Before Christmas? He just wrote the story.

Tim Burton is the man! Sweeney Todd was such a good movie. Other ones I love Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He is a genius!

teaser trailer....if this one winds up getting taken down---I'm sure you can find it elsewhere on youtube.com

Is he gonna go for a darker look in Alice In Wonderland?

And I wish he'd make more music videos for The Killers. ;)

I love Tim Burton. He's an awesome director, and him/Depp are my favorite actor/director collaboration ever.

I've loved Nightmare Before Christmas since I was little, I love the way he creates a story and makes it so completley unique. Edward Scissorhands is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. I love that he takes a general 'once upon a time' fairy tale idea, but makes it darker and more complex, and much deeper.

Tim is my favourite director, too. Has been for many a number of years. My favourite movie is a tie between Edward Scissorhands and Batman Returns. I think he and Danny Elfman are the perfect off-screen partnership (like on-screen it's Burton/Depp) and I don't think I've ever heard a better original OST quite like that of Returns. I don't usually like the pure musical aspects of any film (unless its a lead lyrical track) but that one just blows me away -- along with the performance of Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. :sigh:

His commentary for that is very informative but there is only a certain of 'y'know's I can take. Seems to be a favourite word of his.
