While I wish for a higher standard of morality globally, I've sinned enough in my life not to want to kick anyone when they're down. There's big news on every level that has alot more relevance than this.
 
One guy going astray is no news. A guy raking in a fortune because his image is not only that of No 1 golfer but Mr Clean is something else. McGuire, Bonds and Canseco fell off their pedestals for different reasons, but Woods will join them among the ranks of the betrayers of the public. Just being good at what you do is not enough. Madoff was a genius at what he did.
In the final analysis it may be we, the adoring public, who are most to blame. We swallowed the guff that we were spoon-fed, and fully deserve our disappointment.
 
I agree. I wish I were perfect whatever that is? I'm single now not because I cheated but because I'm anti-social and pessimistic. But if I were a billionaire golfer who knows how different I'd become? Walk a mile in my shoes before you accuse criticize and abuse?
