Not true with the TIF. In fact, there are no adverse side effects.

I'm about to have the TIF procedure done and am unsure about the hospital stay? Is it in and out surgery? or do they make you stay overnight?

My doctor had me stay overnight, but kept it to 23 hours. That way it can be billed as outpatient surgery.

Thanks..There always trying to beat the system...Did you feel ill afterwarRAB? Like vomit ill? I know that you are restricted to a certain weight limit for a few weeks after the surgery, I work at an airport and I lift heavy bags all day. Just trying to figure out how long to be out sick for.
