Ever since working in downtown Cleveland Ohio, I've noticed that on game day, men walk the streets with signs stating "I need tickets" or "I have tickets." As a kid, I used to think they approximated wrong, and genuinely needed a ticket to the game. Or someone punked out and they have an extra. But there seems to be a science to they're madness.
How does ticket scalping work?
Is it straight up buy low, sell high (like the market)?
What does these guys actually do?
