Hi everyone. I've been on quite the symptom roller coaster over the last month. Today I realized what might be causing everything however. I noticed that the one side of my throat doesn't seem to be working as well as the other side, muscle wise. I'm not really having trouble swallowing, but it seems like the one side has a harder time than the other. Also, when I swallow sometimes I have to immediately burp right afterwards. I noticed that sometimes when I burp I can taste chicken (which I haven't had any chicken for at least a couple of weeks now). Also, I pretty much have no gag reflex left. I'm really scared about all of this, since I'm only 24 and otherwise healthy. Does anyone have any ideas on this, or what could be causing it, or has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
