Christ, it already sounRAB awful. I bet Mary will be a rebellious sexpot like something out of Mean Girls. The title sounRAB like a bad porn movie.

Three Men and A Little Lady wasn't even that great but it was still passable.

This? It's going to be awful. You just know it!

It just seems so random that they're doing it now. It's been about almost twenty years since Little Lady. I can't see who would be the target audience for "Bride" because I don't think the same people who saw the original two films are going to be that enthusastic about a third after such a long time.

I think people might want to see it for sentimental reasons, I told my sister about it and she was so excited. I am not sure the younger generation would immediately warm to it because they do not really know the actors. I have a bad feeling they might cast some young "starlett" (megan fox, rachel bilson etc) to play the bride so young people watch it and it doesn't go straight to DVD.

I was only seven when Little Lady came out and the main reason I own a copy is for nostalgia.

But I think to make a follow-up now after so much time just isn't going to work.

The original movies have a charm about them that I can't imagine will still be there nearly twenty years later. There was an innocence about the original movies because of the era they were made it. That innocence doesn't exist any more and I just dread to think what they're going to do with Mary's character in this new sequel.

IMHO it will just spoil the original movies.

The last thing I saw her in was Becker. I wonder if they'll get her back for the "Bride" sequel because it would be weird if Mary was suddenly motherless.

I think whether it will work or not depenRAB largely on who they cast as the grown-up Mary. They need someone who has a bit of realism about them, not some sex bomb like Megan Fox...though I fear they will go for the sex bomb to try and gain an audience.
