Good morning all you nice people who are recovering from back surgery. I saw my surgeon this morning and got wonderful news. Iam 3 1/2 months post op. PLIF L5 S1, with 2 roRAB and screws and cadaver bone. My doctor said the fusion looks really good, and no need for the back brace anymore. I can start Physical Therapy tomorrow. Iam really looking forward on doing that.
Although Iam still having a lot of pain in the tailbone and right hip area
, he said it could be due to my posture when sitting, or even the back brace, so I will continue to take my Darvocet N 100, and Flexeral for now.
I have to see him again in 6 weeks, and was told I might have to have the bone stimulatour while sleeping.
depending how therapy goes. So, all in all Iam heading in the right direction as far as recovery goes.
I will continue to post my recovery along the way. You can't get rid of me yet. hahahahaha.
