So I am a huge maynard fan, hell my dogs name is maynard. Any way I have seen him live 5 times, needless to say he is a demigod in my book. So right off the bat I have disproportionate (sp?) views of anything new he puts out. I have heard alot of people bashing the album (emotive), saying how he wrecked alot of the songs.... I can't help but take this personally. First off its a concept album, right on the label it tells you what its about, peace, war, and greed. Secondly this album proves he is one of the most vesitle vocalist/song writers MY generation has ever seen. Lastly, this just means that the next tool album will kick ass that much more, (that is, him having gotten some of the lighter stuff out of the way). You are free to discuss...
