Thoughts on Michael Jackson

Am I the only one who never thought of Michael Jackson as ugly or revolting? I've never looked at his face and drawn back. Sure, I've never met someone who made the transition from black to white and cherished an addiction to plastic surgery, but c'mon. The guy looked damn good on stage, with his angular frame and general uniqueness. He was an amazing sight to behold.

I think if he'd looked "average" he wouldn't have been quite as revered and successful, imo.

Thoughts?

Have you seen him without his nose and chin? Even with them on his face is actually scary. Not many people can do that to me, not even elephant man or that guy from Robocop that got acid dumped on his face.

I think his face looked unnatural because of the lengths he went to with plastic surgery. I didn't ever think he was ugly, but I didn't think he was attractive either. I do think he looked more attractive before going under the knife.

Yes, he was in court a few years ago and had to take off his nose and chin. He looked like Skeletor. I've spent too much on therapy to move past that terrible day so I'm not going to try and find it again.

He had all the plastic surgery because of the skin disease he had. He thought it would have looked better white than have white spots all over.

And yes, I'm kind of getting tired of hearing all the stuff about him. Of course I didn't really follow him either.

I think the last time he looked in the ballpark of normal was somewhere around 1990, when he just looked like a white woman.

After that, shit got REALLY weird.

Can't deny his influence to pop culture, but shit people need to get over it already, he was a freaky fuck. Let him rot in peace.

is it surprising the media would be all over this? i wasnt surprised at all on tuesday when the only news was complete coverage of the MJ funeral. thats how the media rolls, it gives them ratings and thats what Americans like to know, not news like Iraq or economy.
