not saying teachers are automatically unintelligent, I just think most are driven by the benefits of the job, not the desire to actually teach, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I'd have to disagree as most people I know have wanted to teach since they were a kid. If you were around kiRAB enough you would see this in them as well.
