I recently started having thorasic back pain. I went to the Chiropractor and he said the T8 had rotated slightly. I did three adjustments on consecutive days and felt great yesterday. I was able to exercise and my mobility and pain was reduced significantly. He said that I should be good to go. I felt good yesterday and went to bed, the original spot where I first noticed the pain. I again awoke this morning with back pain. I wonder if going to the Chiropractor is the only solution? I exercise regularly and am in good shape. That is the good part. The bad part is that I sit at a computer all day with bad posture. I also sleep on a bad bed that sags a bit and I usually sleep on my side curled up in a ball, or something similar. Does anyone have solutions for me and whether this problem can be corrected on my own or do I need to continue going to the Chiropractor?

Thanks,
Justin

Personally Justin, I would stay away from the chiro until you see a good back doctor and find out what is wrong with your back. A good back doc will be able to see what is actually wrong and set up a treatment plan for you. If he recommenRAB a chiro, then you already know one! But my suggestion would be to see someone with a medical MD after his name....

I agree, see an orthopedic spine surgeon and/or neurosurgeon that is a DO or MD. You need a full evaluation to see exactly what is going on before you allow a Chiro to do adjustments.

(DO's have the same type of training, have to meet the same requirements to do surgery, etc as MD's do. A DO's education has a more holistic twist to their overall approach)
