I have severe pain in my mid thoraic area. an mri scan shows a wedging of a vertabrae and slightly bulging discs. My surgeon says its not enough to cause all my pain. The pain hurts my gullet and round my sides, upsets bowel and bladder function, and causes severe sciatica. But it is either left or right very rarely both sides at once. If i put a shoe raise in the left side, pain radiates to the right. with no raise in, the pain stays on the left.
