The only result I was really dissapointed in was Pan's Labyrinth not winning best foreign language film

Scorcese was deserving of an oscar. I'm not sure he was deserving of an oscar for The Departed, though, when he has such a great back-catalogue, many of which are most certainly superior.

Thought Alan Arkin's was well deserved. And Helen Mirren's. Not sure about Jennifer HuRABon.

I have to agree I don't know what the fuss is about. Brilliant voice and all but thought her acting was fine but not oscar worthy.

Forest Whittaker - saw it last night - and of course Martin Scorsese for his body of work - haven't seen The Departed, though.

Dunno about any of the rest. Saw Dreamgirls but haven't seen the competition.

Forrest Whittaker, Helen Mirren, Alan Arkin, Scorese and The Departed all deservedly won.
I thought this year's awarRAB were very well deserving as a whole.
