BestBuy and Target said they would not allow lines until 24 hours before. I rolled by there 40 hours before and there were already 40 people at BB and I went to Target and there was "15" Only 5 there when I got there. People would leave at 10am and come back at 5pm because they had class and everyone that was at the front of the list backed up all the people comming and going for hours at a time. They had this bullshit list they made, not by Target. When we asked Target about the list they said it did not count and Target had no real system to handing out tickets for a ps3. Just who ever is at the front of the line. It was all Bullshit, I never seen anything this bad. Basicly the biggest group of friends had control. Also one guy bought a spot in the line for 500 bucks.
 
The target by me isn't allowing a line until 10 oclock tonight. A friend works there and confirmed there is no line there. another target by me has a line of 7
 
You need to just man up...walk in front of them and when they say anything at all.. You say "Oh this? Yeah You just got here dude"
 
While I agree with this in theory, it's a pretty damned good way to get yourself fucked up.. there's already been fights about line formation through the country.
 
It's quite rare. And most of these "fights" are nothing more than a bunch of words and threats. None of them are gonna do shit. They know that any kind of physical confrontation is going to get them either kicked off the property or arrested. Then guess what? No PS3 for them.

Like I said, man the fuck up. Or back down like a little bitch, but don't whine about not getting a PS3.
 
I'll pay you $100 dollars for a video recording of you "manning up" and cutting in front of everyone on line at the Best Buy/Circuit City of my choice (within 10 miles of your zip code).
 
I was thinking about going up there at 4am and cutting everyone and being like fuck you. Your line system fucked me, I was number 5 but because you agree to let people go to class all day I am 11 and now will not get one.
 
If it was under the circumstances stated above, I'd absolutely do it. I wouldn't just walk up to any line, stand in front and go "Yeah, my spot is now here and you all can kiss my ass." That's fucking retarded.

If you leave, you lose your spot. We did the same shit when the 360 came out. Dude further up front left to go "grab something to eat" while the rest of us stayed there. His two buddies tried to say they were holding his spot. Not so much. Everyone behind them moved up one. He was pissed when he came back, but he went to the back of the line and that was that.
 
the target i went to had 12 people waiting outside. it was around noon.

inside the guy at the electronics booth said that they had a line of 50 this morning before opening, they had to tell them that they were only getting 10 ps3s in.
the 2 extra people in line are counting on someone to drop dead before the store opens tomorrow
 
Fucking BB. My brother called them and they said they won't let people wait until 12hrs before opening, so he didn't go till 10AM this morning. People still came 2 days ahead though. They started to make a list. Bunch of people were there when we rolled by. Cops came to move the crowd a bit. 3hrs after the proposed "line", they finally did something. They didn't go w/ their "line" rule and just named people from a list that was made yesterday. Fucking bullshit. They fucked over alot of people for listening to them.
Well at least the people who waited a long time got it.
 
There were like 19 total and the 8 people that knew they were getting one just kept anyone behind the 8 from moving up. No matter what, it was all bullshit. I was about to punch some people but then I thought this is dumb, its not even worth my time. I just want to sell it on ebay.
