This note was written on facebook by one of my room mates:

It is just an unbelievable cop-out and really displays what is wrong with America. I like how he wasn't pissed McCain lost, but the whole religion thing pisses me off.

A lot of europe has let go of religion and they are doing fine. I wish we could do the same and stop "resting in jesus" or whatever that bullshit.

He has a bunch of his baptist friends writing comments like "Go James" or Try this scripture too. What a bunch of bullshit.

Seems quite gracious. I hate religion shoving its dick into politics too but overall its a much better message than the others I've seen.
 
Yeah, fuck that guy for having a good attitude and expressing his belief. This is America, land of bitter skeptics. Guy should be bitching about the failings of the democratic system and blaming black people.

Wow, this is some really offensive stuff. Imagine remembering the power of Jesus in your life if you believe in him in difficult times. This is really outrageous and should be stopped immediately.
 
nothing wrong with religion, it just needs to be kept separate from government (as stated in the constitution.) democrats seem to be better at this, whereas the religious right (read GOP) seems to have no problem interjecting religious belief into government. (see gay rights, abortion, etc.)
