short bed and its a step side.? someone stole both drive shafts. it has a 400 motor and is a automatic. what year models will interchange drive shafts. im thinking the front should be the same on long beds and the rear would be the same on all short beds. would a regular truck rear shaft work.i have been told by several friends that short step sides are scarce. true? thanks for any help
