I know you can send wii's to other systems and all that, but can you actually play against someone else over the internet yet? I haven't read up on it much and just got it yesterday but I figured someone here would know
 
no, none of the launch games support online vs. play because the online system wasn't operational during development. I forget what the first online capable game is gonna be but it's coming out real soon. I think it might be batallion wars? not sure.
 
pokemon revolution is first online game in Japan. I think it might be batallion wars or metroid prime 3 will be first online game here in US. hopefully in Feb or March.
