Hey everyone,
I guess I picked a funny day to ask this - it's the last day of school, before the easter break. I also think I picked a funny category too; I think the things I'm going to describe are symptoms both genders can get, but seeing as I'm female, I decided to ask it here, instead. It's quite a long question, but I'd really appreciate it if you took the time to read through it. Thanks
Basically, ever since my MOCK exams a few weeks back, I have found that my body has been acting strange. Recently, I have had this immense phobia of noise, as during the MOCK exams, my stomach kept rumbling extremely loudly, and this put me off working during the exams. My stomach would rumble even when I wasn't hungry; when thinking of food made me feel sick, and ever since those exams, I dread times like assembly, or lessons with a strict teacher, when we have to be quiet, and all noises can be heard. This must sound very stupid, but there was a cringey moment in my Chemistry exam where my stomach rumbled really loudly, and in a really demented way, and everyone stared at me. It bothered me to the point of wanting to leave the exam, and ever since, this problem has continued.
It is thought that in recent years I have developed a sort of anxiety problem, as the smallest things make me awfully worried and anxious. Recently, in addition to my stomach rumbling, I always seem to have this really strange...I don't know - it's like a feeling deep in my throat/chest that feels like I need to burp. It sounds funny, but that's the only way I can describe it. I never let it do want it wants, and this adds to the rumble of my stomach. In a very recent assembly, I had to keep bobbing my foot and rubbing my fingers together, otherwise I would get seriously bad butterflies in my stomach - the BAD kind, and it felt like I was going to do that burp thing/stomach rumble at any moment. It made me want to leave the assembly.
I eat breakfast every morning, and it's always something nutritious and filling. Even when I feel completley full, my stomach rumbles, and all of these strange symptoms occur! I never usually eat anything excessively that could cause such things, and it's really bothering me, as I'm sure I look stupid, and during the time the symptoms occur I never pay attention to what is going on around me.
Please help the crazy girl! This is seriousl bothering me!
Thank you,
Shelby x
