I think my cat might be pregnant. Her stomach is just really round & her nipples seem bigger & darker. I'm pregnant too which is the funny thing lol. Since I'm pregnant, I still have a pregnancy test that I never used & if I can figure a way to get her urine, I was wondering if the test would work? I don't know if they have the HCG or whatever like we do. I already tried putting my heart beat doppler that I rented for myself on her stomach but I didn't hear anything lol. But I haven't tried it with the gel. She doesn't like me to touch her stomach or hold her & she used to love being held. She never sleeps in my bed anymore. She just lays around on the floor. She doesn't play anymore either. I know the obvious thing is to take her to the vet but I'm trying to save a vet bill if it's as simple as I'm hoping to find out. Thanks a lot!!
FYI the only reason she got pregnant is b/c I watched my friend's cat for her & she told me that he was neutered but apparantly she's wrong or lied so I'd watch him. My cat does not go outside at all. I don't want to have her spayed b/c I don't want to put her through the pain. I love that cat like my child. Also, I'm not adding to the problem or whatever you said b/c I'm not going to just put the kittens out on the street. They will go to good, loving homes or I'll take care of them myself if I have to. I would never do anything to possibly harm one of God's creatures thank you. So keep your comments to yourself & just answer the question asked or don't bother.
Well thank you Amanda for adding that additional info. I was not aware of the other things that could happen if I don't spay her. I was just thinking, if she doesn't go outside, no point in spaying her. And if something you mention were to happen to her one day, knowing I could have prevented it by spaying her would obviously be a terrible feeling. So if she's not pregnant, I will get her spayed & if she is, I'll get her spayed as soon as she's able. Thank you
