This isnt a joke im serious lol.. Is this the reason my tummys darker?

This might sound like complete rubbish and im worried that it does but.. My husband is african and i am white and we are having a baby.. im 6 months pregnant and my tummy is pretty dark and i was wondering.. obviously my baby will be the same skin colour as my hubby is that the reason that my tummy is dark, because the baby is? I cant decide wether its a stupid question or not! lol
its obvious that my child will be dark because so are my ancestors and my husband, its almost inevitable!
 
Babies of mixed raced parents can have either more or less of one colour or dominant trait, such as skin, eye or hair colour... that is to say I don't think its "inevitable" - you could have either a very dark baby or a more milky-chocolate or even a very white baby but with African traits, such as hair or nose..

...if your tummy is a shade darker than normal, surely that is just the body adapting to being pregnant, be this blood flow or even an extra fine hair growth that some women get, (think of the baby-soft "fuzz" that young men get prior to proper beards) its literally to insulate the baby...

Not a stupid question. Your baby will probably come out with caramel colored skin....very pretty! Your tummy is getting darker because of the pregnancy hormones. The hormones also can make hair darker and it makes your nipples and area around your nipples darker as well.
 
First point that is wrong is the fact that your baby shouldn't have the same colour skin as your hubby - it should be half-cast.
