This is why Wii > PS3 > XBOX360

Nintendo is brilliant imo. They're basically selling games to people twice. All they had to do was develop a flawless emulator, then dump roms.
 
ultimately the wii is going to be a huge success or a big flop (obviously I think the former). I think the price tag on the ps3 is going to alienate a lot of casual gamers who don't want to drop close to a grand on a system and a couple games. until it comes down in price anyways
 
My friend got a Wii w/ extra controllers and a classic controller along with Zelda. Got drunk and played Wii Sports and had a BLAST lol. And Zelda was out of this world. the aiming with the wiimote is FLAWLESS.

all in all anyone who buys games to have fun is denying themselves if they do not purchase a Wii.
 
Not just price. My wife who does not like video games at all, and hasn't played any video games in years, wants to play the nintendo wii. I have heard similar statements from a lot of people over the last few weeks. If Nintendo pulls in the casual gamers, like they have obviously planned to do, and can keep the more hard core gamers happy, they will come out on top without question. If they come out on top, more developers will make the "great" games for Nintendo's system.

All that being said, both the Wii and the PS3 have to still catch up to the 360. I have no question that the Wii will catch up quickly, but I don't know how long it is going to take for the PS3.
 
Its not just the remote, it's the controls, and gameplay? Have you seen the release titles for the Wii? As for graphics, well...they don't matter when the game is great. Take a look at the old school games or FF.
