I never told you to buy or not to buy any console. You jumped to those conclusions on your own.

Who gives a shit who's a fanboy? I love the SNES. It was the greatest system of all time, with the best games. Chrono Trigger anyone? But I still prefer the PS simply because they're not really relying on a single title. In fact, they're hording them. Wii will probably be a good system. But I don't think it'll live up to the hype that's been generated. PS3? Plays it safe... more or less. All the titles that sold well will be updated on PS3 and sell well again. I think that in itself(title loyalty, or fanboyism) will cause the PS3 to outdo the Wii and the 360 in sales. They just have too many solid titles.
 
So between 360 and PS3 the only good game is Gears of War.

I will be getting a PS3 but not until good games come out for it (MGS4, GTA5)
 
I don't dispute that

but we were talking about following up on great games. if you're into zelda, you'd understand why it would be so hard to follow a game such as ocarina of time.
 
They added that instead of a DVD player cos nintendo know they can't make sales from DVD movies but they can sell stupid nintendo fanboys a 8kb Mario rom for $5
 
What's worse (and disappointing) is the fact that they're not changing any of the roms whatsoever. They'll all play at 480i with no enhanced features (online gameplay or anything). Writing an emulator for the Wii and selling rom dumps is genius on Nintendo's part.
 
Probably marketing. If they released them all at once, then 6 months later the service would seem stale. They don't want that.
