This is why it sucks to wait tables.

I had the most rude and ignorant people that I have ever seen in my LIFE sitting at one of my tables tonight. I was ready to throw my tray at these people. :flamed:

I am a nice person. I am patient with my tables but if I EVER see these people again...I am going to throw something.

Let me explain.

This girl I work with didn't want to wait on them so she gave them to me. When I took their food out they sent me back to get something for them. So I did. Then I went back to their table and they asked for something else.

I guess I forgot to go get it because a minute later I was taking an order and I was focused on those people. I guess this guy was goign waitress. waitress. waitress. waitress. waitress. waitress. waitress.
waitres. waitress. And just before he yelled at me, I looked at him. He said "come here." So I did. He said, "Before you take their order I want my stuff NOW." so i asked him what he wanted and then I asked my manager to get it becaus I was slammed. I had no time to wait on this jerk. So my manager helped me out.

Those morons sent my MANAGER back 4 times in a ROW wanting something different everytime saying they asked for it WHEN THEY DIDNT! Then the 5th time they tried to send him back, he said to one of my co workers, "I'm not going to do it." Soshe went and waited on them.

At that point every time I came to see if they were ok, they were nothing short and mean. One lady at the table had to be close to 400 pounds had food all down the front of her. When she asked me for some crutons she was chewing with her mouth wide open and proabably spraying food everywhere. I was done with them. I couldn't take anymore.

That was the FIRST table of the night. After that I got complaints that the food wasn't right and blah blah blah. It continued almost all night!

WTF?!?!??!? :flamed:

I tryed waiting, and that almose got someone killed;)

I did mostly cooking, and I would get complaints by people that they saw me putting ashes in there food and bla bla. My only saving grace was the fact that I am the type of person that if I say something, it goes. Not cause I make threats, but cause I never lie.

When the owner of the placed asked me what was going on, I said, "I gess he's trying to get his food for free." When they ran his card it was declined.

When ever I go out, the worst thing I do is check out the hot girls asses. I am always polite, and say thanks for everything.

hahaha I wouldn't put something in peoples food, but I have been SOOO tempted. I need my job and if I ever go to get another waitressing job...I can't have that kind of a bad reference.

We have however found stuff in the food before we take it to the tables that was litterally accidentally there. I'm talkin a HUGE packaging staple. We took it out first...but sometimes it makes me wish there WAS one in the food. haha

I do know a guy who actually spit in someone's soup over some incident I witnessed. But anyway, I hate being a busboy because of...well, you wait staff. Everybody where I work on the wait staff are a bunch of ignorant fuckers that practically go out of their way to try and do their part of their job that relates to me wrong, then they go and try to do my job(also wrong) and act like I'm not going to be offended by it. Bunch of retards. I don't see them washing dishes when I fall behind in there, so don't bus my tables either.

I'm guilty of that. I'm sorry that its like that. I like our bussers. I tip them good because I know they put up with a shitload all night. Our bussers are fricken awesome. I always say, when you have time...we are going need some silverwear or some glasses in a while. That way they have a heads up of the bitch waitresses. lol

i would hate to have ur job...i work for my uncle we work on boats and we fix up really bad ugly places like houses, pizza shops, stores. My pay day is really nice. But when i go to a resteraunt i try not to ask for everything perfect and if they get a lil things wrong i can live on it and i still leave them a tip like 5 dollars on the other hand i went to red lobster and the lobster sucked and terrable service we didnt leave a tip at all. Then there the time at kfc it took them like 1 hr to make our food and they werent even that busy >< slackers

Some one should make a thread about what you or a friend has put in someones food. I have seen some shit. Nothing about a pissed employe, but realy asshole custmers.

When I was 15 I worked at a pizza place. Sliced my finger. Bad. My job on the line was to put sausage on the pizza, you had to pinch it. Somebody got the most disgustingly bloody band-aid cooked on their pie.
No call backs though.

Put disgusting stories in this thread aye.

Freind was working the grill, got a order for a steak. He tenderized it, cooked it and stent it out. It came back, he did another one even better, and sent it out. It came back again, so he took a new steak, beat the shit outa it, through it on the floor, did a dance on it, picked it up and wiped his ass with it, cooked it and put it in the window. The worst part of this story is the waiter came back 20 min later and told him the lady that ordered it said that was the best steak she ever had:happysad:

I cut part of my thumb off, and it wound up in some ones cheeze sticks.

And last but not least, the managers were preping an 8 ball (yes, drugs) on the spaghetti station. They had it all done and had the straw ready when the owner walked in. They put it on top of a spaghetti order, covered it with parmashion cheeze, and threw it in the window.

I don't work there anymore.
