Because when it gets really cold and I don't have a warm body to keep me warm, I turn it on, let it run for awhile, and my room gets warm.

Seriously, I bought one to get in on the craze. I love saying "Yeah, I got one" and the customers are like "WTF!"

Great way to piss people off.

Btw, the games are great. I'm excited about the new games coming out.

Also, not sackriding as I'm about to get on my 3rd 360 and Wii by next summer.
 
only questions from other people at work this whole week have been:

"So, did you get one?"
"How is it?"
"How did you get it, fucker?"
 
Got a phone call from work and they said they had a 20 gig system in stock. I sat on it for an hour, bought it, and cut back on smoking drastically.
 
I walked into the local wal mart today to see if they had any Wiis and saw the stocker dude putting a pair of PS3s in the cage. I bought one and some dude behind me bought the other one.

neither one of us is actually keeping it though
 
It's funny when people are like "WTF, how did you get a PS3?" or "WTF, you have all three systems?" Then they usually curse at you

And on the heat part. My room was cold as hell before so I powered up my 360 and PS3 to warm it up a little
