I can understand 'resisting arrest' because you just don't want to admit that you are wrong. But in the end it is like everyone says - you did the crime, you gotta pay the consequences. I've my issues with the law, but I got off with only a warning. And that was for shop-lifting... back in the day. I know what you mean about the legal system - throwing someone in jail for drugs. But in your case Corrupted, there were other factors. If it were only for the smoking etc. I'd say it's too harsh. But then again from what I hear in the U.S. most people are in jail because of possession or using, or dealing. And I think there's a consensus nowdays that drug-use is a victimless crime. Dealing is a different matter. But yeah, you have to wonder - when a minor gets a slap on the wrist for stealing/ assault, yet throwin in jail for drug-related stuff - is the justice system failing? I'd rather have a junkie on the streets than someone who might pull out a weapon and cut me.
