If you live in the US, You might of heard a law that now all kids have to be tested for ADD (Which is a fucking made up disease, it justs means the kid is hyper! Holy shit!) And If they do "Have it" (Said fucking made up disease.) Their parents have to give them the Riddilin (Don't know how to spell it.) Or else they could go to jail for Child abuse!

This is fucking bullshit, and the worst part is, is that we don't get to vote on it, I mean its fucking bullshit.

I am sorry but I am really fucking pissed off right now. Did you know that 75% of school shootings have been done from kids that once had to do riddilin? Not saying that all do though. And also, many ADD past guys have told me, they actually did drugs afterwords, becuase they missed the calmness of the riddilin.

So it makes kids slow, gives them a higher chance to go loco or become a druggy, and, they don't even have A FUCKING PROBLEM! Their just hyper. Gah!
 
I think that ADD or ADHD actually is a real thing. HOWEVER, it is severely over-diagnosed.

The Wikipedia article is an interesting one.

My sister was diagnosed with ADD as a child and was prescribed Ritalin. It actually helped her.

My FATHER was diagnosed as an adult. The Adderall was basically just speed for him. He didn't really have AADD. That got him into meth. I hate the doctor that did this shit. Fucking pill-pushing quacks, dude.

It varies from case to case, of course.

As far as it being a fucking requirement to be tested?! That's ludicrousness.

The LAST fucking thing this country needs is more doped up children. :thumbsdn:
 
I believe that there are other choices for treatment, other that Riddilin. In a lot of cases, other drugs are being chosen because of adverse side effects. My husband has ADHD, and he takes Concerta.

I also believe that it is a real disorder, but many "hyper" kids are improperly diagnosed as having ADD or ADHD. I'd like to see the article that you got this information from, since it seems to be a pretty broad statement you're making.
 
Well, you're worked up over nothing. It's not a law. You've been miss-informed.

In one case a family was ordered to put their kid back on Riddilin. The family chose not to appeal or fight. It's not a law.
 
I've never heard of any such law. I agree with mdotandpie (and we talked about this in Psych class) that ADD and ADHD are real disorders, they're just incredibly over-diagnosed. A lot of doctors will tag a kid with this simply because it's an easy diagnosis.

i haven't heard anything about this but ADD is real, you know it is when you aren't diagnosed and your buddy gives you ridilin and it makes you fucking psychotic, the adverse is he has the disorder and it calms him down.
 
When I was growing up I was ADHD so bad my father thought something was wrong in my head. He would give me 2 or more ridalin pills on days that I needed to be calm.
He pulled me off of the pills a few years after because I needed to learn to control myself without pills.

ADHD is real. If you weren't able to concentrate on shit somethimes you would change your tune about this ' made up disease'.

But really I heard that someone was trying to pass a law in congress, without a vote. I mean, thats what I heard. Well maybe it is a real disease, but seriously, do we have to dope our children? Like you said aren't there different and less serious meds? Well whatever, I guess that box of wisdom must of been spoiled or something...
 
There are various forms of idiocy also. If you are going to post pointless drivel like this you should post a link that backs up your point.

And yes, I think some kids should be doped up. I was one of them. Makes the kids get better test grades because they can actually focus on something.
 
Well, a while back I heard they were trying to pass a stamp tax on email. So you'd have to pay a penny for every email you sent. I mean, thats what I heard. Two seconds with a reliable web search engine proved that it was a butt load of crap.
