Exactly! If people look at how the dates were spread out - they were 1 night on, 1 night off, then he was due a week break in early august, doing a total of 10 dates that month. He never had 2 nights back to back scheduled and often had long breaks mid month. At the end of September he was off until Janurary. It was prehaps this block that would have been the most tiresome for him as he wasn't taking as many long breaks between dates.

I guess there was always the chance they'd add a few more in but I doubt he'd have done any back to back. His energy in the rehearsals was enough to show that he was more then capable of pulling it off but maybe a full run through would have exhausted him?

This could have been one of the greatest concerts of all time. I remember how stunning the visuals were during his Dangerous tour - as a child and not a huge fan, my jaw was dropped the entire time. Nothing has ever matched that for me. It was very easy to forget watching this that he was a 50 year old man who hasn't exactly had the best run of health prior to that. Quite remarkable the energy he had.

I did feel that some of his movements were a little odd - that penguin (The Suns name for it) move seemed out of place and he seemed to enjoy punching randomly around him during certain worRAB in songs.

It does hit home that regardless of anything, he truely was one of a kind, a genious in music and performance. the likes of which we'll never see again.
 
I've seen it twice and every time I have seen it it just confirms even more what a terrible waste his death was. He had so much love to give and the shows were just going to be phenomenal. If they were the rehearsals then I can't even begin to imagine just how jaw dropping the shows were going to be and he didn't even forget to perform one god damn show. The world has lost someone truly special, its just a terrible shame it took him dying for a lot more people to appreciate him. Rest in peace MJ. You were one of a kind on earth and now you're one of a kind in the sky.

Actually really enjoyed it, IMO, MJ danced and moved pretty well, very impressive - for a 50 year old guy remember - and looked healthy which makes it even sadder he passed away :( He sure didnt look like a guy who was on painkillers etc.
Some productions look as if they could have been crackers - eg Smooth Criminal with some very clever splicing putting MJ in a 40's gangster film, Thriller and the moving Earth Song. Also some good rehersal performances of Billie Jean, Beat It etc :cool: He also seemed clued up enough and knew what he was doing to direct his dancers and keep rhythm and stuff.

So, a glimpse of what might have been. It was interesting getting an insight into the production/videos. I'm sure the live shows would have been incredible :cool:
In a curious way, this is one of the best and worst things. In presenting the MJ the fans/public want to see (understandably), it makes you think you never thought he'd die, but now he's gone - if that makes sense :(
But I think it was supposed to be celebrate him.
At the end, the audience in the cinema even applauded. :) I'm not even a big MJ fan but can appreciate he was a pop legend and I enjoyed some of his music, he has made some very good music :)
