This is it...Elektronik....

I use that site all the time, when I don't have limewire/frostwire.

Just turn it down real low when your listening, and imagine it's a flac file.

Demonoid also works wonders for finding music files, at least enough to satisfy my paltry needs. And since the download is relatively small and completed quickly, many of the users that would have otherwise left after leeching the torrent remain on it for a quite a while, so the speeds are pretty decent.

And if you're looking to use WBB more frequently, you could always try uploading some stuff from your 0day trackers to RS and posting it on WBB, it wouldn't be long before you got a premium account for free.

And there's always Soulseek.

I hope elektronik R.I.P :)

If I had to place my hope on something, it'd be the staff reconsidering their decision and not closing the tracker.

It's a real shame to see it disappear, as it was a great resource for electronic music - personally one of my favorites. Does anyone know why they're shutting down, exactly?

Although it might not be completely similar, if you like grabbing radio shows and other sets, check out http://tribalmixes.com (my favorite for 3 years now, but there are others). It's not perfect if you want to download singles and retail releases to add to a collection, but its cool for throwing some music on in the background.

Maybe can you tell us something about SceneSound and VIPmusic? Do they cover all releases, how good and reliable their autobots are..?

Am not a member Scenesound or VIPmusic. As for Satclubbing, its an EDM tracker.

Satclubbing has some insane packs.Monthly techno packs are upped out there.I find it much better to download monthly packs, then to download EP's and sorting them out.

I usually use Satclubbing for the packs.

Damn...not good news. It is disheartening to see a respected tracker die. :( I was a member there a couple years ago, and respected their community and know it's a loss to the users who solely relied on it for their edm music. A site that can hold you over on some releases is http://www.0daymusic.org/
I use it sometimes when I can't find a release I seen pre but not on any of the trackers im on for some reason. You have to usually wait for the rapidshare clock, but it works if you just need a few at a time. I think they also do premium FTP accounts too, but I would def check with someone else who has one of those before you give them money, as I don't know how legit they are as far as business goes.
