This is how I converted my s45 into s45i 100% succesfully

I couldn't test FW4 for S45i so I don't know, but I don't see much difference between FW26 (original for my me45) and FW28/30. SMS is maybe a little tiny faster (hardly notice) and one game is missing (battle mail). Kinda strange...
 
This is how to modify/replace one library file to have support for diacritics for "s", "t" and "z" in XTNDConnectPC.

Process translation:

During instalation of XTNDConnectPC library "rstSiemens2.dll" was copied into "Program Files\Common Files\XCPCSync\Translators\".
You need to replace it with http://www.gis-service.cz/gsm/siemens/sme45/rstSiemens2.zip

After that you have to "activate" czech language:
1. Start Outlook
2. Backup all you contacts you have in Oulook
3. Delete addressbook in mobilephone
4. Connect your mobile to PC
5. Synchronize

This is enough for Czech language. There is no support for other special characters (e.g. Slovak).

Procedure is one year old, so you may find some newer version somewhere.
 
well siemens is SIEMENS and T-Mobile is nobody :> then who can take responsibility? :P

I have got S45 and want to upgrade it.I used winswup s45i040301 to flash.After that I used S45i Activator to patch. I press Readpatch but program say:not find any s45i...&not done.When I turn on my phone,it only have "buzz" sound..Can I help me?What's my handphone problem?Thanks...!
