This is hard

Thanks for sharing The Magic 1, and let me add what I can.

Life is hell. Literal hell. To enjoy yourself here takes work and perseverance and dedication, a lot more than most people seem to realize. It can, and WILL, always get worse, now and then. It's inevitable in Hell. So buck up little guy, it's gonna be all right, if YOU make it that way. Only then. I too love hanging out with friends, it is an important part of my lifestyle, but it is also possible to find enough peace inside that other people come to find they like you, because you like you, and it's all good. It's vague I know, but each person rides alone. Doesn't mean we shouldn't TRY though.

Oh and anything you think sucks about being a civilian, sucks MORE as a soldier. Seriously. Ask around. So you think it's your out, but it wont be what you think it is. Just fucking finish school, realize you'll never have such awesome access to young available females again, go to a fucking party, realize it only gets worse from here, but you can carve out your niche some day. It just takes all the shit I already said.

And I disagree that life gets worse as you age, I think you are a big whiner baby JLXC.

Oh,

and:

You think life sucks as a soldier?

Do any of you actually have any real problems?

I mean, REALLY?

No, seriously

Yes, we all go through bouts of misery in life.

But life is not always bad.

I said that it sucks more than being a civilian, duhr. The food, the lodging, the hours, you name it. It's all a bit harder in the military, I know.

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought maybe someone was having one of those Viagra side effect deals. Ya know, with it lasting more than 4 hours.

My life either reminds of roller coaster. Things seemed ok the day before goes fucked up today. And I used to it. I'm trying to live today and forget the past. I'd call this "progress". Experiences change You through Your life so You change Your mind on things. But I wouldn't say that being alone can affect me. I guess magic better find something that make You feel happy and try to use this when You feel bad again. I've several uhhh "tools" to get me out of bad mood, like shopping or driving a car, or some activities... Try to throw things that You hate out of Your life and fill it with things that You very enjoy and You probably will start feel more solid and happy. I did this with my life and I feel I'm getting much better and stronger than before.
