It is kind of horrible but still a great film. I was just saying in another thread, how weird that the little boy and Smell get together like that...she looks quite developed and he looks VERY young. Yuck.

I adore this film, I have it on DVD anyway but I still couldn't resist watching it on TV...

I think Smell is hilarious, she's obviously only about his age mentally

I think I've only watched the last scene with Milky twice. The first time, obviously because I didn't know it was going to happen, and I watched the film the other night...it is horrific.

Yep, it's a four part mini series, starts tonight at 10pm on Channel 4!! and if it does well, they will make another mini series set during the 90s. Suppose to be fantastic.

As for the film, adore it.

Shane Meadows is a fantastic director. He's had missteps, most notably Once Upon a Time in the MidlanRAB but on the whole his work is great. So much better on a tight budget.
