This is England 86 (Spoilers)

Those last two episodes were stunning and very hard to watch, C4 should be commended for not requiring cuts to the most graphic scenes. You could practically feel Lol's despair. Absolutely fantastic acting from Stephen Graham (also great in 'Boardwalk Empire'), Vicky McClure and the guy who played her dad.

d'you I'm laughing even at the thought of them, ALL trying to stop, and reverse (with dignity or lack of) to speak to Shaun.. lol lol lol :D fabulous wee guys.. lol lol

I agree but I believe milky really does have feelings for lol and visa versa thus the angst, and it makes for a stronger storyline.

I would also like the the relationship between Shaun and Smell progress further, but I think its coming anyway. As you say we will see tonight.

I believe it's Shane Meadows(the original directors) turn for the next 2 episodes, should be interesting.

I know, it's a brave role to play really, seeing as some people get confused between TV and real life

I've never seen him in anything else, is he well known? Great actor!

I just hope that at the end of tonight's episode, one of the messages rammed home is: justice not revenge. SounRAB as though Mick might be meeting his end via a confrontation with Combo, but I'm not sure a psychopathic rapist being murdered by a psychotic racist will be sending the right sort of signals to Britain's impressionable youth.

Always going to be harder to do this in a 4 part series than a one off film but I expect this to be addressed in the next three episodes as people get used to the format.

As it is, we are comparing a one off film against a series which can be a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but is Michael Socha (Harvey) the brother of Lauren Socha (Kelly from Misfits)? They are like two peas in a pod!
