I don't think Thomas Turgoose is as bad as some people are saying. He has a lot less to play with this time round, he can no longer look upon everything with wide eyed wonderment, he's a slobby teen, wondering what to do with his life. Granted, he was super in TIE, but effectively, he's playing a different character this time round. It was all about seeing it through little Sean's eyes originally, but now it's just us, watching him getting on with being a teenager. He's not the live wire he was, but that's what happens during your teens, and I think he's playing it pretty well.
