This is England 86 (Spoilers)

This feels weird. Just feels so different from the film, like an odd comedy. Especially the bits with that lady doing the Mrs. Robinson thing, and her kid looking like Meggy.

Feels more like a crap, 80s Inbetweeners than This Is England.

Only saw the film last night
I really should watch things without reading guff on here, I'd get more out of TV programmes.
Despite that, I still got enough from it to make it worthwhile.
 
For those wondering who the girl was, the one who Shaun was supposed to call a fat dog, she's just started to appear in Coronation Street as Kat Armstrong, Chesney's new girlfriend, looking very lovely as usual ;)

Hazel from Auf Weidersehen Pet was the wedding organiser, you could tell with the Brummie accent
 
In the film, Lol said she was 16 when she slept with Combo and that was supposed to be right before he went to prison. He served three and a half years, so I figured she was supposed to be about 20. Therefore, she's about 23 now and it seems that Milky and Woody are the same age.

I think all the others are roughly somewhere between 18-21.

I enjoyed this episode, but I did think there was some silly stuff and maybe just a little too much sex. It is getting darker though and I liked all the drama. I felt so much for poor lonely, confused, vulnerable Lol. I also felt sorrry for Woody though. He's a prat, but she has never confided in him and so he doesn't understand what she neeRAB from him. He didn't deserve that betrayal from Milky.
 
I had a 'Biff Tannen' vibe from that leader of that gang, but yes the gang scenes were a waste of time.

The first two episodes of this disappointed me a great deal, and as for last nights rape scene, I thought the girl playing her could of acted a bit more distressed.
 
That made me laugh too. I though it was a very good hour of tv, very refreshing from the usual rubbish churned out.

Just what ive been wondering,its never made clear if he was arrested or just ****ed off,its him ive been watching the series to see,also enjoying the woody and lol storyline,didnt like that lol slept with milky though,made me wanna turn off,shaun catching his mum and the storekeeper was funny.
 
Wow, that was very powerful:( I think I spent most of the programme with my hanRAB in front of my face. Brilliantly written and the acting was fantastic!
