I thought eventhough she hated him and wanted him dead, she felt that by holding the hammer she had the upperhand, and she just turned her back to regain her composure, AS much as she wanted to use, it to physically hammer someone is unthinkable. And to me the way things played out was more realistic, he had to completely push her over the edge for her to carry out her plan.
I thought that scene and the menace of the buildup was some of the finest acting I've ever seen, it felt so real, they were both so in the moment, I was biting my nails in horror of what was eventually to come. I have to cover my eyes and ears and ask my hubby when it was OK to look, but that's just me, I can't watch violence at all,a bit too senstive really.
Overall fantastic, one of the highlights of the whole thing for me apart from the acting was the cinematography, it was visually stunning, a true delight.
I didn't care for the moped gang either, mainly because they just looked stupid and din't seem real at all, but that's a minor quibble, and it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the whole thing.
