I understand that, but it seems like they have overdone it. He has come across like a prat and he just felt so much more "adult" before, in the film. I hope now they have made us understand why Lol is so frustrated with him, they allow him to be more serious and we see a glimpse of the old Woody.

Me too, it really shook me up. I was nearly in tears last night watching it. It just felt too real - but I guess thats the sign of good actors and a good programme. I think it just came out of nowhere when the rest of the episode had been pretty good humoured.
