This is England 86 (Spoilers)

Aye, as soon as he opened the door and you heard him say that 'kelly was just at the shops, and would be 10 minutes', having already seen she was at the pub watching the match, kinda guessed where it was heading. :(

Last nights felt like a Shane Meadows film - just wish he'd directed all 4 of them.

Looking forward to the Finale.

Look there's stuff in life that you're not going to 'get'
Probably chimes for others on some emotional level that it doesn't for you.
Save yourself some time and wasted brain power, just chalk it down as 'not for me' and move on to something else that is for you.

I think too many people are tying to be over critique , I have just sat back and enjoyed it for what it is a darn good drama with lots of twists.

Yes the rape scene was horrific , but are they not in real life? I am looking forward to the final episode.

Same here. That scene was so lovely, and rather hilarious! I love Smell, she's a great little character, I'm very confused by all the hate for her.

I don't think we'll see another series. Another one off feature length set in 90/91 maybe? Just to see how they've moved on from that and maybe see Combo released from Jail?

I have sadly missed all of this series for some reason but have managed to get it from my online video recorder, so I am able to watch all episodes back to back. :D

SounRAB like it is worth a watch :)

I hoped the third and fourth episodes would be better than the first two, but expected they wouldn't - and I was right. 'This Is England' was a good film (not a great film), but Shane Meadows should have left it at that. I echo previous comments about the filler stories (e.g. Scooter gang, Meggy's heart-attack), and IMO, the violence in the fourth episode bordered on gratuitous. The cinematography and performances, however, were great, but the writing let the series down.

Combo attacked them both at the end of the film, I think he glassed Meggy and he said something like "you're mental" I think it turned them against him.

In the film, yes and an outright racist caught up in the BNP movement of the time and ended up beating up Milky (due to his race)

Young Shaun hero worshipped him due to his young and impressionable age but left him after he beat up Milky.

And that was were the film ended.
