Hi Juanno,
I have found duac gel to be very effective. I was prescribed it in corabination with some antibiotics (trimethoprim) in order to prevent the flare ups the the drug caused. Certainly here in the UK I think its normal to be prescribed topical peroxide based stuff like duac in corabination with internal medication. My skin was very dry and quite painful for a while whilst getting used to both treatments, but it certainly did work by turning my face into the surface of mars (nothing could survive!).
My only warning would be CAREFUL WITH YOUR CLOTHES! I have bleached the collars/necklines of about a dozen of my t-shirts and jumpers because of this gel. Try to take off your tops without contacting your face, especially when wet!!
