...project design. fill it in, please? I am designing a clock, and I have to think anthropometrics! For those who don't know (I didn't until I used a dictionary) anthropometrics are the measurements of parts of your body and the measurements of how you use your body to distinguish elements of the product you are about to make. If some kind (adult or borderline teenage/adult...16 and over) people could answer my questions (there aren't many) and please specify gender and age range (16-20) (20-40) (40-60) (60+) please! My clock is modern and trying to be made ergonomically! Please just feel free do give absolute opinion. (just copy and paste questionnaire and put a Yes or indeed a Y... whatever you feel your up to.) Oh! and if anyone feels that there are other 'anthropometric' questions for a clock (I couldn't think up any more) please feel free to say so!
Questions:
Q1: Preferred number font
1. Roman numerals
2. Thin lined simple digits
3. Thick lined simple digits
4. No numbers
5. Any other suggestions (this would be interesting!)
Q2: Number of numbers!
1. All numbers (1,2,3,4...12)
2. The numbers 3, 6, 9, 12
3. The numbers 12 and 6
4. Indeed the numbers 3 and 9
5. Just one of the numbers (specify if you want..just if you have a preffered number..)
Q3: Size of digits (think about your eyesight here!)
1. 1 inch (2 and a half cm) about the size of a teaspoon head.
2. 2 inches (5cm) about the size of a tablespoon head (why spoons I can't say)
3. Bigger? say if there was just one digit, would you want it bigger? say serving spoon size? joking.
4. Smaller? what do you want?
Thats the end of the questions! Thank you ever so much if you have spent time filling this silly questionnaire in. I am very grateful!
