I was diagnosed with Rhumatoid Arthrtis and Scoliosis a while back and it's getting worse and it hurts so bad. I am so tired of it. ARGH.
 
That's definitely a Life Sucks situation. Can't do anything to relieve your pain, but hope finding a place to rant about it helps.
 
I was always so afraid of being diagnosed with scoliosis. Those tests you took in the nurses office where you bent over and they put their hands all up your vertebrae... scared the crap out of me!

Sorry to hear about your situation, are you takin any kind of medication to ease the pain and/or discomfort? My mom's got a little bit of arthrities and she takes vitamin E pills, and fish oil pills, and says it works for her a bit.
 
I used to be really scared when we did those tests as well. They told me I never had it until I was specialized to a bone doctor. Then they tested me for Arthrtis and found out I did have it. :(

I take Naproxin for it. It hasn't been helping. This morning I am doing horrible. Everytime I breathe in my back hurts.
 
They could at least give you some good pain meds for it. Call the doctor's office and let him know that the meds arn't doing much for the pain. They might give you something good for it.
 
Some doctors will just call in another prescription even without a visit. You could always try and if not then just get a time and set one up.
 
I don't know if my doctor would. Perhaps, it is always good to try. My left shoulder blade has been hurting me so bad.

I know this much. Naproxin sodium will fuck your stomach up for real. I have arthritic knees and they put me on naproxin sodium for a while. It never did me any good. I kept on taking it though. I figured that maybe it would kick in after a while or something. It never really helped. It did fuck up my stomach though. If it's not helping, Naproxin Sodium's cons are more than the pros. I would stop taking it and get either a heating pad or an ice pack. One will help more than the other, surely. If it is not working, One of the two will definately help more than the medicine will.:twocents:
